Working fluids or external flows can cause oil flow, or internal leaks can lead to it. Impurities in the oil flow can damage equipment, reduce the performance of the hydraulic system and increase maintenance costs. Therefore, we need to take some measures to reduce the risk of hydraulic system failure, such as changing the hydraulic fluid regularly, checking the filter, cleaning the tank and checking for leaks.
(1) Replacement of hydraulic oil: When the oil in the hydraulic power control unit becomes dirty due to long working hours, replace it with new hydraulic oil. This replacement is necessary to avoid malfunctioning caused by impurities and moisture in the fluid.
(2) Cleaning the tank when the fluid is not clean and lead to the main cause of failure. When cleaning, the oil should be cleaned of impurities and water. If cleaning the oil makes it dirty, you must replace it with new oil.
1. Pay attention to cleaning on a daily basis
When a machine is in operation, oil circulates through the hydraulic system. During operation, impurities and water can accumulate in the oil. These impurities can degrade the performance of the hydraulic system and may lead to equipment failure. To ensure that the hydraulic system remains clean, regularly clean the oil tank and replace the filter element if necessary. Replace the filter element or screen immediately if you damage it or clog it with foreign matter.
Before cleaning the oil tank, make sure the oil level in the tank is normal. There is enough oil in the tank to prevent air from entering and also to prevent contaminants from entering the hydraulic system.
(1) Check for leaks in all lines;
(2) Check whether the oil level of the oil pump is normal;
(3) Clean the filter and other seals.
2. Lubrication
Lubrication of the hydraulic system is one of the key factors for the normal operation of the hydraulic system. Special lubricant or hydraulic oil should be used. Try not to use hydraulic oil containing water and impurities. If you must use it, clean the oil tank before using it.
(1) When you are not operating the hydraulic system, keep the oil seal closed to prevent debris from entering the tank.
(2) When checking the oil level, open the oil level indicator and check that the oil level height meets the requirements.
(3) You must check the color of the oil regularly and replace failed lubricants promptly.
(4) Frequently check the oil level in the tank and the filter element, and replace the filter element when it has oil.
