This hydraulic diverter valve is designed to maintain smooth switching of the production process, minimise maintenance costs and increase the efficiency of the pneumatic conveying system due to the reduced angle of divergence and reduced pressure.
It can be used for dilute or dense phase conveying with positive or negative pressure, the diverter valve is optimised and tested for a maximum pressure of 2.0 barg. it allows the material to be conveyed from one source to two destinations, using more diverters in series it will allow more destinations to be reached. It can convey granules and coarse or fine powders.
For static parts in direct contact with the product the material is stainless steel AISI 304, the main material of the moving tube is hardened aluminium alloy.
The steering angle of only 15° minimises wear and tear on the internal parts of the manifold, which, like the manifold itself, are relatively inexpensive, e.g. elbows. This simplicity of construction allows for stability in continuous operation, especially under some full load conditions, where reliability and maintenance-free characteristics are essential for the economy of plant operation.
